Truth or Panda?

Two stories from this month's Cat Fancy, one true the other not. 

1. "Local kitten, Mr. Paws, declared far from purrr-fect; owner files anti-defimation suit."

2. "My cat's anal region is red, swollen, and has black specks on it. I wiped it with a wet cloth, do I need to do anything else? Also, it smells."
